それとも、忍耐深い空に運ばれるこだまなのだろうか。

私は自分の名を形づくった土に触れた。
この声が光を知るよりも前に。
川はみな静かに囁いていた。
「借りたものは、永遠には留まらない」と。

散っていく季節を抱きとめるのは誰なのだろう。
流れた涙を憶え続けるのは誰なのだろう。
もし沈黙が最も古い答えを知っているなら、
なぜ私たちは夜明けを恐れてしまうのだろう。

一枚の葉は森となり、
風はその魂を思い出す。
鼓動のひとつひとつは円を描き、
見えない時の中へ溶けてゆく。
教えてほしい。
永遠とは何なのだろう。
